On top of which, photo.net is butt-ugly to look at these days. I pay the $25 to flickr for ad-free photo-sharing with family & friends. For the stuff I care about, I host on my own blog. But to make it work the way I like it, I had to write a whole bunch of software, so I can't in good conscience recommend that approach.
