Sheesh. Weird engine you had there. My 1993 bakkie is still going strong.
Std 4 cyl cross-flow engine. Clutch replaced at 200000Km. No other problems
yet.

The cylinders leaked oil into the spark plug wells (for some reason the
plugs were about 8 inches deep in the engine), and it had a shitty GM
transmission that not only fell apart (this goes to why friends don't
let friends buy GM), but caused the exhaust to be routed so close to the
starter that the heat fried it annually.
It was the second worst vehicle I've owned, the worst being a Pontiac
Grand Am (back to that GM and friends thing again).
