Yesterday afternoon, I was going through photos in Lightroom, looking for
candidates for future PUGs.

Strange things began to happen: Photos being replaced by blank squares in Grid
view, whole years of pix disappearing in the Library column, and things
changing from one minute to the next.

So I quit LR, re-started it, and the images came back in the grid, but most of
the folders in the Library were screwed up. I have a folder for each year
(since 2005), with subfolders for months and sub-sub-folders for shoots within
that month. All of the years say zero photos; some of the months seem accurate;
but some have completely wrong numbers (e.g. 2010-11 says 8 photos; but there
are actually 1182 in 3 shoots).

I’ve run Disk Utility on everything, and shut everything down and re-started
twice. Things are still flaky.

Thoughts?
