Don't know about negative film but the sharpest slide film is Kodachrome 25 followed by Kodachrome 64 and then Velvia. Yes, Velvia have smaller grain and higher resolution than Kodachrome 64 but it ain't sharper. It can't beat the Kodachromes high accutance. Pal
