I'd expect no problem if software arcs are used, since "software
arcs" are plotted with a series of draws, whereas gerber arcs use the
arc plotting command. What I don't recall is if the original gerber
standard allowed arcs at all, I forget.
Definitely, though, this is a 99SE bug (and it may have existed
before 99SE). It's nice to have the ability to support that ancient
photoplotter in the dark recesses of the basement, but .... arc
commands should have been properly rendered. If they are not allowed
in the old standard, then the user should, at least, have been warned.
Ah well, water under the bridge. Question is, has this issue been
addressed in DXP et seq?
