Hi guys,

Thanks for the quick responses.

I'm running a single instance of 99SE, spread across both screens.
I tried that "Move to application Display" but didn't seem to help.

I wonder if I have to restart Protel every time I change something?

I'll keep ticking boxes and pray to the "anti-crash" gods...

Cheers,

Terry

I run an Nvidia Quadro FX 3000 and I've had this problem in the past. To
solve it you need to go to the Window Control part of the Nvidia tab on
your Advanced Display Settings. There's a section on Dialog Box
repositioning. Set it to "Move to application display" and that should
work.

You can play with the various settings and see what works best for you.

Subject: [PEDA] Question for Dual Screen Users

G'day peoples,

I just got a dual LCD setup running on my PC with an NVidia 5200 Video
card.

Protel is great spread across both screens, except for one thing.

Whenever I pull up a dialog box (pad properties etc) it pops up in the
centre - i.e. - split across both screens and I have to constantly move
it to get a clear view of it.

I have the latest drivers and have tried just about every setting to fix
this but I'm thinking it's hard coded in to Protel.

My question is - what does everyone else who's running dual monitors do
about this?

Cheers,

Terry
