Hi Hamid, AD2004 SP4 is missing a lot of really great features so I can understand the gap is not so wide, but since then there has been a lot added, and mostly to the schematic and pcb editors. I won't list them here as the Altium web site covers them very well, including videos to show some.

IMO its better, faster. > I have communicated directly with Altium sales and support and > their position is that they are aware of the issues as well as > several long standing bugs but are not interested in fixing them > because they can still sell the software without needing to fix > the bugs. not fix bugs ? in Altium Designer ? they are fixing bugs and making improvements almost every day, are you talking about 99SE ? > That would be true if this were a site for social banter. > However, in a forum like this questions come up when someone is > either learning the software initially or expanding what they do > with it or trying something new. Silence does not mean that no > one is continuing to use the software. yep, I understand that, even so, its VERY quite, and a lot of the posters here are using AD2004 or AD6.
