FWIW, Devel::CheckLib is *not yet complete*. In particular it will fail badly on VMS. While no-one is doing smoke-testing on VMS, this will still get in the way of real VMS users trying to install things. Mind you, I'm told that VMS perl people are quite used to having to correct "all the world's a Unix box" assumptions in code before installing it. Even so, I don't like to recommend it yet. Doing the VMS port was on my to-do list for December. Unfortunately I got side-tracked by the Go board, my kitchen, and several gallons of cider. -- David Cantrell | http://www.cantrell.org.uk/david Anyone willing to give up a little fun for tolerance deserves neither
