I would imagine that the combination of optional typing and the ability to define handlers for arbitrary com[ile-time traits would solve this problem: class Demo; use Attributes::RDBMS; my NUM $.attr1 is key(primary) require(>0); my STR $.attr is key; # etc. Damian
