isn't this is plplot developer issue rather than PDL?
What I'm thinking of here is better development of PDL::Graphics::PLplot
for interactive use. This might include better flushing of intermediate
results after each call to 'xyplot'. It would also include a non-OO
interface for quick plotting under 'perldl'.
There may also be some plplot C code issues here.
