I'm thinking it is more like there is one computer - the server - connected to the internet on one LAN card and then there are lots of "terminals" running processes on that computer connected via a second LAN card.

So the traffic on the LAN is I think going to be X-windows sessions or the like, and only the server will be talking to the interweb.

Or have I got this wrong ?
