I just got an end-of-life notification for an old system. This notification contained the following text:
Use RHN to Upate Your System Today ----------------------------------
If you are a paid subscriber to Red Hat Network, you can download ISO images of Red Hat Linux 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, and 8.0 today to update your system. And, as of 3/31, Red Hat Linux 9 will be available to Red Hat Network subscribers as well.
Does this constitute a pre-announcement? ;-D
Red Hat 9.0? What happened to 8.1?
There's going to be alot of RHCE's who are going to quickly be "non-current" if Red Hat chooses to increment in full x.0 releases.
