Red Hat 9.0? What happened to 8.1?
I am guessing that they made so many changes to the way that things are named (Red Hat Enterprise Linux vs. Red Hat Linux) that they wanted to make a fresh start. We'll see if they increase the major version number every time they release a Red Hat Linux version.
There's going to be alot of RHCE's who are going to quickly be "non-current" if Red Hat chooses to increment in full x.0 releases.
