I use HomeSite and the very simple Windows built in Notepad text
editor. Maybe I am very lucky that all the hungarian characters
are mapped in the valid SGML range. Our hungarian xml files are
just plain ASCII texts, with our special characters: áéíóúöüou
[and all in uppercase too]. I never thought that I need to
face with a problem of out encoding. I have never been trouble
building the docs, and it is really convinient to use one
character and not corresponding the SGML entity.
