Another option that is similar to Platinum/Palladium but is much less expensive is Kallitype. There are a number of resources on the web -- just do a search on kallitype. Dick Stevens book "The definitive guide to kallitype" is very good also. Photographers Formulary in Montana offers workshops on alternative processes.
