Ok, but in this case we don't have some material (like logos, etc) under our source control. For Graphics assets for example this could be important because for example the source of the logo is an svg file and the standard icon (I generate it now), and none of them in in SVN. And in this moment JIRA is down and I'm using a my local copy of this file :-) .
