I've just generated logo.png, with background transparent (revised after having been exported from Inkscape, and making it square adding padding pixels outside), big enough for many uses: 256x256, because usually scaling it down produce good results the same, and the size of the image is little the same.
For Web Start I have to try, but I think scaling down at 32x32 would be enough. Ok, only for the "Kitchen Sink" I'll create always the Desktop icon, but note: at least on Windows you probably will have to remove it (from the Control Panel) and then reinstall via Web, or the new icon will not be displayed ... And last, I'd keep the icon on 256x256 (27 KB) instead of the 32x32 (3 KB) ... but will be scaled down to 32x32 here. Do you think it's good the same (we could reuse it and scale down as currently) ... Synchronize and tell me what do you think. Ah, a last thing: in 3 jnlp files for "Kitchen Sink", I've seen that in the Console i got the following message (now you can see it only in the unsigned version, in other 2 files I've just removed), but this is not an exception: width:800 is not a valid startup property. height:600 is not a valid startup property. center:true is not a valid startup property. moving them from the <argument> tag to a <property name="" value="" /> remove the warning, Ok. But the application still doesn't use them ... another thing to verify ... And, I've just seen that since Java 6 Update 10 if the application has to make connections to another site, it will prompt to the user what do so, so maybe I could also try to add an unsigned version to Stock Tracker and iTunes Demos.
