Hi Alan,
That went wrong in the traditional make noninteractive step too, but in a
completely different way than for MSYS. This time there are still libraries not
found in the path and the script complains about a file ./tcl/test_error that
does not exist (wrong directory, perhaps, as there is such a file).
For now I am giving up on this, no more time I am afraid.

The problem that occurs with Cygwin is that the path to find the driver DLLs
depends on the configuration that is being tested. After installation it is
something very different. Maybe I should leave the files and put up with 40 GB
until the end of the test.
