And this reminds me of a stupid thing which I did before. I was
wondering why the heck my guitar tuner program was not working the first
time I tried to use it...and then a look at the mixer settings shows
that the mic volume was set to a ridiculously low value. Turning up the
mic volume on the mixer got the damn thing to work...and earned me a
slap on the head.
