I was planning to get an Atom but I need the virtual machine capabilities of a full AMD and Intel processor. The important word is "when". I want a setup which can be fast (enough) or slow "when" needed. I'm not sure if any locally available Atom is dual core or can run kvm. Having a separate computer will probably require more power than a single quad-core unit (two HDs and two CPUs). (Well a network storage device will be lower powered anyway if that's my only need. I even remember reading about one model that allows you to do bittorrent downloads from within the NAS!) _________________________________________________ Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List http://lists.linux.org.ph/mailman/listinfo/plug Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph
