Far from it. McDonald's, or any other business for the matter, will ally itself with whatever it can gain the most profit and exposure from. McDonald's turned down a (supposed) offer from Apple to market the iTunes Music Store ala Apple-Pepsi, so there's no stopping McDonald's from teaming up with Microsoft if its profitable for them.
