Any modem would do, though if you're doing RAS often you better get an external hardware modem. There are several of these, including offerings From D-Link and 3Com, among others. It is notable, though, that some software modems (especially the Conexant HSFi) can perform well as RAS modems because of software compression... -- ZAK B.
