Hello,

Hardware based auto-answer... I really have not tried
that, sorry.

Doesn't all external (RS232) modems have auto answer
features? before we tried C-net, A-Open, and D-Link,
they all seem to have an AA(auto-answer feature)....

But I never tried to use the AA(hardware based)
feature in particular, but software that automaticaly
answers the phone seems to work fine...

By the way what distro are you using?
by RAS you mean remote access server, right?

Have fun!
