Yeah, that's it! Why not have the boxen volunteers have someone build a Beowulf? I'm as sure as interested on this, especially in combination with LTSP...
We could perhaps do this on one of the PLUG technical seminars if it couldn't be accomodated at the Open Source Conference. I'd love to be able to share the knowledge. :D
A quick grain of salt though, I'd be using the MPI libraries for C in the demo's so a quick read on the MPI library (LAM/MPI in particular) would be a very nice backgrounder. In fact, the tutorial from the LAM/MPI website would be very very helpful for people who want to get their feet wet with beowulf clustering.
