Since release of latest 1.5.4.4 on 4-June-2017 whose main role is Flac -
there have been about 850 downloads - many of these will be
re-installs/failed installs so I think probably 200-300 real users.

I suspect BBC had same issues about FM radio - not many had the
equipment to listen when broadcasts started, range was worse than AM
(poor rural coverage)   - so why did BBC implement it ?.  The BBC's
mandate is usually wider than a commerical station and covers the issues
of improving quality etc.
