I couldn't find a version of VLC 3 for ubuntu 17.04 (the ppa master version for 17.04 never seems to have been successfully built, but I see the 16.04 one was at the end of June), so I git cloned a source version on Saturday July 15th and built it myself (not too easy, I had to install loads of libraries, overcome compilation errors on qt5, etc....). I haven't quite established the time difference between Firefox and vlc 3.0, but I think vlc is around 1.5 minutes behind firefox. All quite strange :) LMS 7.9.1 on VortexBox Midi box, Xubuntu 17.04, FLACs 16->24 bit, 44.1->192kbps. Touch & EDO. 2nd Touch standard. LMS plugin UPnP/DLNA Bridge to MF M1 CLiC (to A308CR amp & ESLs) & Marantz CR603 UPnP renderers. Alternatively Minimserver & Upplay to same & to upmpdcli/mpd PC renderers. Squeezelite to Meridian USB Explorer DAC to PC speakers/headphones. Wireless Xubuntu 17.04 laptop firefox/upplay or Android 'phone with Squeeze-Commander/BubbleUPnP controls LMS/Minimserver. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ PasTim's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=41642 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106409 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
