Actually, there's not much setup needed now I think. You might need to set up an AWS IOT "Thing" to represent the server - I did this, but I don't think it was needed in the end. > > Also, I need to create the Lambda squeeze-alexa first before the > transporter (since I should grant MQTT acccess)? > > It might be that this require that you have very good AWS skills Definitely yes for the MQTT transport version (beta!). I'd recommend sticking with the SSL transport unless you -need- to use the MQTT especially if you're new to AWS stuff. If you do decide try MQTT though - the IOT homepage is here https://console.aws.amazon.com/iot, and you can use 'mosquitto' (https://mosquitto.org/) to test our your MQTT setup before even starting with squeeze alexa. Generally it's easier to jump on the Gitter chatroom: https://gitter.im/squeeze-alexa/Lobby especially if there are other people trying this too... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ nickb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66261 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107009
