Glad to hear (and see from the log) that the fix is working as intended.
Regarding your new problems, the initial volume of the player is
determined by the level defined in the AVR's Quick Select command
associated with the player --- in your case, Quick Select #2. It appears
from the log file that you have set that value to 40. If that is too
high, you need to lower it to the desired value using the AVR's remote
or GUI. From the debug log, it appears that you settled on a value of
around 30 after beginning playback so I would start there. Regarding the
AVR not retaining audio settings changes after a power cycle, that is
not in the realm of the plugin. The first thing you need to do is to
change one or more of these values using the Denon remote or GUI and
then see if the same behavior is observed when powering the AVR off and
on. If so, it is probably an AVR setting that is causing it. I know
that, with my old AVR-3311ci, the settings are stored and retained
separately for each input and do survive power off/on cycles. However,
it could be that, in newer AVR models such as yours, this is an option
that can be defeated via the GUI. On the other hand, if it seems to work
when done outside the plugin, I will need you to generate another debug
log showing you changing some of the audio settings using the Squeezer
menu to see if that logic is working correctly. That's why I asked you
to change one of the values in the last debug log, which I don't see
there.
