Even though I had done the restart of Slimserver as directed, I had to go to the plugins check list, UNCHECK both Custom Browse and Multilibrary, click the "change" button, then RE-CHECK the two plugins, hit "change" again and viola! Why, I have no idea, but if this helps anyone... Thanks so much for the help Erland, your response was awesome. You are likely to hear from me again when I flail completely at actually setting up the libraries....
