With ED, the user has to copy the repository location, go to Settings > Advanced > Extension Downloader, paste in the url, refresh the screen, then search through the multitude of tables to find the new plugin. Click the checkbox and apply. I find that's a little more effort, especially navigating around the ED page. The randomness in the ordering of tables makes finding plugins a chore. They don't appear to be alphabetical by author, nor by the repository list order. A table for each repository is just a bit weird - why not a single table for all plugins from all repositories. Hopefully this plugin will make that easier ;-) Could the plugin read all repositories and create a single repository xml file containing references to all known plugins?
