OK, I've been through a big number of tests now. Admittedly, this is not exactly the same code base from the current release versions but right now I simply can't reproduce conditions under which iPeng stays active.
I _did_ however see the power drain phenomenon, too, albeit not always fully reproducible. I'm still not 100% convinced that this is _not_ related to iPhone/iPad for some reason keeping the WiFi enabled (and communicating) This can explain even the "stays warm" phenomenon and it would also explain that iPeng is immediately available whenever you disable the screen saver. The server connection can take well under a second, it's the WiFi startup that will usually cause delays. Will keep investigating. -- pippin --- see iPeng, the Squeezebox iPhone remote and *New: iPeng for iPad*, at penguinlovesmusic.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
