Hm, I think i fixed it. The server is also running a minecraft (bukkit) server, which is empty most of the time. The server is running idle @ ~20% cpu, but apparently enough to make spotify lag? The helper is not even using 1% of the cpu.. Maybe it's not the cpu, but the hdd.. i don't know.
