Timely article about MOG...http://appadvice.com/appnn/2013/01/beats-plans-on-relaunching-the-mog-music-service-with-a-new-name-and-features. Looks like it might get relaunched by beats. Hopefully they won't break the basic service. In addition to downloading I think you could investigate better caching. I could not get a good playback tonight where I was waiting in the car with ipeng but I went to isub and it buffered for about 10 seconds and then never missed a note. When ipeng is playing burp-burp-burp little snippets of audio I can't help but think the player should be doing something different to avoid that. Is this a flaw in LMS streaming protocol? I can imagine there might not be a way to recover from missing data for a real time streaming interface. If it is a limitation and you do support download then maybe you should switch to that interface entirely. That is, download and then play from that data. Assuming the download interface is more reliable it would greatly improve behavior over cellular. steve ------------------------------------------------------------------------ dsm1212's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=62128 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
