Timely article about

Looks like it might get relaunched by beats. Hopefully they won't break
the basic service. 

In addition to downloading I think you could investigate better caching.
I could not get a good playback tonight where I was waiting in the car
with ipeng but I went to isub and it buffered for about 10 seconds and
then never missed a note. When ipeng is playing burp-burp-burp little
snippets of audio I can't help but think the player should be doing
something different to avoid that. Is this a flaw in LMS streaming
protocol? I can imagine there might not be a way to recover from missing
data for a real time streaming interface. If it is a limitation and you
do support download then maybe you should switch to that interface
entirely. That is, download and then play from that data. Assuming the
download interface is more reliable it would greatly improve behavior
over cellular.
