I make extensive use of the Squeezeplay client to listn to BBC Radio London on a laptop that is buried in the wall and run with the lid closed, and uses a TV and wireless keyboard/mouse(when needed), I also use squeezeplay on my regular laptop when I'm working from home. These are both synced with a Touch, a Radio and a boom, one or more of which might be on any time.
