Yes, just tried it again (rm /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/DownloadedPlugins/CastBridge.zip), ls -> the file is gone, but instantly reappears upon restart of squeezeboxserver. GUI still indicating that CastBridge needs updating, requiring restart but remains unchanged no matter how many times I restart.
