Again, you're fixated on the "oil industry", and missing the point about oil as a strategic resource -- OIL INDUSTRY OR NO OIL INDUSTRY. See my previous posts on this. I grant that the left critique overemphasizes Big Oil, profits, corporatism, etc.; I've made that clear. But strangely, they are suffering from the same fixation that I see you suffering from -- just the opposite side of it. They say: "It's the oil industry!". You say: "It's not the oil industry!" I say: IT TRANSCENDS THE OIL INDUSTRY! My point is orthogonal to both of yours. Breaking the oil weapon on behalf of Israel?! No, breaking the oil weapon on behalf of US! And yes, Israel too, but only as a secondary matter, an extra. Pardon the yelling. I tend to use all caps when I get worked-up. :-) Alan
