I disagree BDT, and I semi-agree with Mags here. There are in fact migrant agricultural laws that allow for migrant workers; and it is true that a part and parcel of the illegal immigrant problem is that employers have been willing to undercut Americans by hiring cheaper labor. Couple this with government handouts and welfare; where it's more profitable to lay one's fat ass up and collect stipends from the government rather than to get their butts up and go to work:
