Hey BDT!

We're on the same page here; and I probably need to bone up on the
"Agricultural/Migrant-Worker" laws; but at one time, these "Visas/Permits"
were fairly easy to obtain; and they were obtained seasonally for (I
believe) 18 or 24 months. I know that Florida had a number of migrant
workers, (Still do!) especially in the Ruskin; (*e.g*.; south of Tampa)
and Miami/Dade County tomato fields, and the Immockalee Sugar Cane fields;
and these crops are worked primarily by migrant workers, again seasonally.

As a side note, Florida produces about 35% of the tomatoes grown nationally
for consumption! We're also the leading citrus producing State and cattle
producing State; swapping back and forth between Texas every other year or
so....Not a lot of folks realize how agricultural we are!
