Totally off the subject - if he asked Miss California that, then he should have gotten an answer to the question from the other major contender to see if she differed or not.
He was just being an agitator and a contest is not the place for political agitation. Not fair to the sponsors, the contestants or the audience in general. He may play well with his comrades but not so well with the general public.
