Conservatives are not old farts anymore than liberals are flaming leftists. I heard the rationale for voting for Obama- it involved turning the government over to a younger generation than Boomers and sanctity for family decisions regarding gays and abortion and other issues. It had nothing to to with small government or fiscal responsibility. Nor the danger of nukes in Pakistan and Iran x Russia, India and Israel. And Sarah Palin was a brainstorm in exposing the cleft in American society- one that won't be easily healed. She's our Marie Antoinette.
