These were not reforms MJ. The AMA, is that a Government orginization?
And the FDA was established to regulate an unregulated portion of our
infrastructure, not reform it. Medicare and Medicaid stand as two
possible selection, though they did have an effect on the health care
of a large percentage of the population.

I didn't say there had been no reforms, I said no major reforms until
this one. This reform has the potential to affect all people in this
country, nothing this large has ever been attempted.


And what is this about "mob rule?" Can you name a better system of
Government than Democracy? Theoretically Democractic Governments are
controlled by the people of the state. This does not always occur in
practice but it does not mean the ideology is flawed, it just means
the system is not perfect.
