Since I was there every day for years, I would say you are the one who
is trying to guess what Wall Street is like. She was visiting there
before Bush on a weekly scavenging visit to get bucks for her campaign;
so was Bubba. Then she was there after for the same reason. No
thought for the interference in traffic both walking and driving that
she caused, only for herself. You had him both as a bad senator and
then as a truly bad governor of a big population state and looked set to
have him for a second term. Love your use of "we got rid of him";
the "we" would not include you since you drink deep from the poisonous
KoolAid of the Dems who supported him. Lautenberg, also from NJ, is
just as bad.
Go back and check the list of major contributors to Zero. See all the
major Wall Street firms there. Then look to see what they contributed
to the Republicans. Much less if any at all. Finally look to see who
was named to all the financial positions by Bambi. Wall Street insider
after Wall Street insider - and all of them failures at handling it.
Follow that with the list of who was in charge when Fannie and Freddie
were piling up the problems on the other financial firms. Can you
spell Gorelick or Raines or Emanuel or the rest of this crew?
Your problem is that you this idea that Wall Street is some monolithic
Republican bastion. It has not been for decades. Almost all the major
players were stone Dems.

The bank I worked for provided many of the people who are
currently working with Zero and previously worked with Bubba. The other
major firms on Wall Street did also. There was almost zero support for
the Republicans and has not been for years. All you had to do was
watch the many many trips that Hillary and Bubba made to the breakfast
meetings on Wall Street - and that was when Bush was president. You
also just need to look at Corzine from New Jersey who was a big cheese
at Goldman or Robert Rubin at Citi for example. You obviously don't
have a clue about who the rich in NY support.
Suffice it to say, you don't sound like you got around Wall Street
very much if all you're running into is Democrats.
I will concede there are enough there though.
As far as Hillary visiting WS while BushJr. was Prez...she was a New
York Senator after all.
Corzine...we got rid of him.
But now why would the rich Democrats of Wall Street be in favor of
increasingly intense scrutinization, ridicule, regulation, legal
actions (and possible jail terms) and pay decreases?
Under Bush Jr., they had it made.
Nope, something just don't add up there under your experience.
