Almost all the major > players were stone Dems. Seems to me that Bush Jr. didn't care. While he was in power, they were giving to him more-so than any Democrats. Add to that the lax regulations and consumer protections he didn't put on Wall Street. Maybe he trying to bribe them the same way he did others...I don't know.
