After getting dressed she slipped down the back stairs to make a cup of herbal tea, not even aware of what was going on outside.  She took her tea cup back upstairs and was in the control room waiting for Derek to turn up, sipping her tea as she did some preliminary reading.     Derek came into the Control Room and spotted Alex, wondering how she was doing at seeing Philip and the sephlicurs but also giving her the towel with Mitchell's blood on it, sitting down at the console next to her instead of going elsewhere.  He nodded at the main screen "Anything?"
