Derek had finished speaking with Sloan and was in the process of carrying
the second Sephlicur down to the vault when his cell phone rang.  So,
holding the sephlicur as best he could, he stuck the phone under his chin
and spoke "Derek Rayne..bloody hell.."  he almost stumbled on the first step
and righted himself "Hello?"

"Derek, we lost them," Alex said her voice strained.  They were in the store
one minute and gone the next.  Rachel asked me to get something for her and
when I turned around she and Kat were both gone.  Philip's getting the car,
we're going to try and find them."
