"No," Alex told her.  "What on earth made you think the Bill of Rights applies to this house?" Kat took a peanut butter sandwich and began pulling the crust off before taking a bite.     Julia made a face at Alex before commenting "How was I supposed to know that funky French chef would have put snails in the spaghetti? It was the reason she couldn't eat mushrooms.  Snails and mushrooms looked too darned alike.  She made a face.   "And peanut butter and banana tastes good."   "Snails?" Rachel whispered, making a face herself and sticking with her sandwich "And you ate it?"   Julia looked sheepish "I didn't want to hurt the chef's feelings... and I thought they were just weird mushrooms..."
