Julia paused a mock dramatic moment before admitting "One of them started
moving...... the chef cracked them out of their shells like they're supposed
to... but missed a live one."
Rachel snickered, fighting a laugh and Julia make another gross humorous
face.
"And that is why.. I can't stand mushrooms."
"Ewwwww," kat said wrinkling her nose in disgust. She peered nervously at
her peanut butter sandwich, just in case someting was alive in it. She
thought she'd be checking everything a lot more closely from now on. And
never would she eat mushrooms, no matter what anyone said about them!
Alex burst out laughing, "you should have seen the look on her face. I wish
I'd had a camera handy."
