Julia headed toward the Control Room and then changed her mind, not really knowing why.  In mid-step she turned toward the library - the very same library both Nick and Derek had used to find the rite that had brought her back - and she frowned thoughtfully.

"Come on, Rachel.. just a little bit more." she grunted and was glad when they finally reached it.

But instead of the heavy weight Julia and Alex were having to get used to, Rachel was suddenly up and pushing Alex against the wall and sending Julia hard into the library wall.

"He doesn't want you up there..." Rachel said in a dead monotone voice that wasn't her own, eyes flashing once as Mitchell's will was overcoming her own.  She looked at Alex, who she had suspended up against the wall with her feet dangling and kicking against it to try and find some kind of support  "He has to take care of the 'boys'........."

The back of Julia's head -- hell who was she kidding, the back of everything hit up hard against the library wall and she landed in a heap and a grunt on the floor before pushing herself back up.

But, with a wind even stronger than the ones blowing throughout the House, the doors slammed shut between the three women, leaving Julia alone in the library and Alex to fight with Rachel.

"Alex!!" she yelled out to her friend, already reaching for the gun to blow the doorknob off of its handle to get to them.

"Julia."  a very distinctive and gentle Irish voice spoke from behind her, making her whirl around.

Gregory stepped out of what seemed to be the air behind him and gazed at her, expression somber "Ye dun have much time, lass... listen closely and wi' yer heart."

What the --

Gregory tapped on the table and drew her gaze to the Journals there.  "Listen.  The answer i' there...."

And with that he faded away.... leaving Julia to stare, unseeing, at the Journals of the Legacy members now fighting the demon present among them.

'... it took a part of me, the living part of me, when it took her...' Nick's words......

'... I know I carry the burden of Julia's death with me, because it was my order that had us split up...' Derek's words  ' we face it now, the only hope being that it cannot touch Kat.  The innocence of a child, evil can never touch...'

'.. it used my deepest fear and sadness against me...' Alex.

'... we will continue to fight, just as we always have... but at what cost?' Philip

'what if, one day.. this evil returns, trying to take what's left of my family from me?' Rachel.....

And so the words continued to pour into Julia's thoughts, each person seeming to speak them as they continued to speak their experiences in her mind, her hands unconsciously gripping the edge of the table to keep herself upright.

'.. innocence of a child...'  kept resounding throughout everything

innocence of a child....
