She was still grinning from what Nick said as she entered the kitchen, immediately
seeing the visitor he had refered to and placing her.

She watched as a vendor came in, turned toward the door that led to the cellar food
storage and, and fixed herself some coffee before turning to lean against the counter
and watch the other with curious interest. Usually it was Alex that had this part of
the gala duty and in a good way, it was a relief that Alex got to take a break from it
for once.
She took another sip of the hot coffee, enjoying the creamer flavoring and nodded as
the vendor greeted her with a slight nod and went back out for more stock that had
been delivered.
