"All right," Alex said, "let's go get some breakfast, because I've worked up
an appetite already."  Alyssa smiled and took her hand. following her back
to the kitchen and trying desperately to figure out her way around the
immense house.  "We're  back," Alex announced as the entered he kitchen.


Derek greeted them both "Julia had to run upstairs.  Said she would be back
in a while to have breakfast with Nick and Kat."

He looked at Alyssa and explained further "Her husband and a girl about your
age.  Perhaps you would like to join them and meet Kat?"
